Jevon Cheney

Jevon lives in Ohio and started this podcast to help support and educate anyone seeking to start their barbecue journey. He currently uses a Jim Bowie, now Peak, Green Mountain Grill pellet smoker, but will drag out the 500 gallon offset he built when larger gatherings need fed.

During the day, Jevon is a public school teacher. When he is not at his job or manning the pits, you can most likely find him in his woodshop working on something.

Marc Spagnuolo

Marc's BBQ journey began a little late in life. Growing up in NJ, his exposure to BBQ was limited to the boiled ribs someone else ordered at the local chain restaurant. It wasn't until after college that he discovered the joys of combining quality meat, ample smoke, and just the right amount of spice! Since then, Marc has become not only a fan of eating BBQ, but an enthusiast of making the stuff himself. He now resides in the St. Louis area and is happy to be near the home of his favorite BBQ style: Kansas City. Bring on the sauce!
